Tetragon Credit Income Partners III Ltd. (TCIP III) announces completion of the first close of Tetragon Credit Income III L.P.

Tetragon Credit Income III L.P. (TCI III) has completed its first close with commitments of approximately $255 million.  TCI III is a private equity vehicle which focuses on CLO investments relating to risk retention rules, including majority stakes in CLO equity tranches of transactions managed by LCM and TCI Capital Management LLC (TCICM) or sub-advised by third-party CLO managers.  TCIP III currently acts as general partner of TCI III.

TCIP III is part of TFG Asset Management, a diversified alternative asset manager that owns majority and minority private equity stakes in asset management companies.  TFG Asset Management also comprises:

  • LCM Asset Management – a CLO loan manager.
  • The GreenOak Real Estate joint venture – a real estate-focused principal investing, lending and advisory firm.
  • Polygon Global Partners – a manager of open-ended hedge fund and private equity vehicles across a number of strategies.
  • Equitix – an integrated core infrastructure asset management and primary project platform.
  • Hawke’s Point – an asset management company focused on mining finance that seeks to provide capital to companies in the mining and resource sectors.
  • TCI Capital Management LLC (TCICM) – a CLO loan manager.

Assets under management for TFG Asset Management as of 30 September 2017 totalled approximately $22 billion.(i)
