Joy Ghosh

Joy Ghosh is Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of Life Sciences at Tetragon. Prior to joining Tetragon in 2024, Joy was Managing Director at Abingworth, where he focused on investments across life sciences and healthcare. Prior to working at Abingworth, Joy was a Portfolio Manager at Eventide Asset Management, leading investments in over 60 public-private healthcare companies and serving on several boards. Earlier in his career, he was a Vice President at Bain Capital, where he sourced and executed investments in early-stage therapeutics companies. Joy also held business development and strategy roles at Biogen and Novartis, where he led cross-functional teams evaluating external innovation and partnerships. He received a B.S. in biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin, a Ph.D. in structural biology and neuroscience from the University of Washington School of Medicine, and a certificate in entrepreneurship and innovation from the UW Foster School of Business. Joy is based in Boston.
