Paddy Dear co-founded Tetragon in 2005, is based in London and is a member of Tetragon’s Board of Directors and its investment manager’s Investment and Risk Committee.

Prior to co-founding Tetragon in 2005, Paddy co-founded Polygon, a multi-strategy hedge fund management business, in 2002. In 2012, Tetragon acquired Polygon and it became part of TFG Asset Management, Tetragon’s diversified alternative asset management business – which now has $42 billion of assets under management.(9)

Paddy received a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College London, graduating top of his year. He started his career as a Petroleum Engineer with Marathon Oil working in London, Denver and offshore in the North Sea. He later moved into finance and prior to setting up Polygon was a Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank, where he worked for 14 years in London and New York.

Paddy believes strongly in the importance of educational opportunity and was a beneficiary of a bursary at Winchester College himself. To this end much of Paddy’s charitable giving has an educational and social mobility focus. He also actively supports and mentors young, aspiring UK entrepreneurs with a special interest in those with a technology bias and a social benefit.

Paddy, together with his wife Janie, are livestock farmers in Gloucestershire and Scotland and are advocates for local, sustainable, regenerative farming methods.

Paddy is a fan of the arts and is supporter of the National Gallery and the Royal Opera House. He continues to be an avid and active sportsperson in particular tennis, cycling, skiing, and hiking.

Reade Griffith is Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Tetragon Financial Group and TFG Asset Management. Reade is also a member of Tetragon’s Board of Directors.

Prior to co-founding Tetragon in 2005, Reade co-founded Polygon, a multi-strategy hedge fund management business, in 2002. In 2012, Tetragon acquired Polygon and it became part of TFG Asset Management, Tetragon’s diversified alternative asset management business – which now has $42 billion of assets under management.

Reade is also Chief Investment Officer for TFG Asset Management’s European event-driven equities business, Westbourne River Partners.

Reade holds an A.B. degree in Economics from Harvard College and a J.D. degree from Harvard Law School. Reade also served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps and left as a Captain following the 1991 Gulf War. Reade was previously the founder and chief executive officer of the European office of Citadel Investment Group, a multi-strategy hedge fund that he joined in 1998.

Reade is currently a member of the Royal United Services Institute Advisory Board and the Dean’s Advisory Board at Harvard Law School. From 2017 until 2020, Reade was a member of the Financial Sector Forum at the Bank of England.

Reade is based in London with his wife, Elizabeth, and their three daughters. Reade and Elizabeth have a strong interest in creating educational and athletic opportunities for young people, having benefitted from being club and varsity sport participants during their time as Harvard undergraduates. Together they have endowed a fund to support Harvard’s efforts to promote inclusion and broaden access to organized sports and recreational activity. Their education-focused philanthropy also includes funding a 100% bursary in perpetuity at St Paul’s Girls’ School in London.

Reade is passionate about fly fishing, wildlife conservation and the use of sustainable and regenerative farming methods to encourage biodiversity. He is also a member of the Presidents’ Club for both the Atlantic Salmon Trust and the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust.

Stephen Prince is Chief Executive Officer of TFG Asset Management, Tetragon’s diversified alternative asset management business, joining in 2015. During his tenure, Assets Under Management have grown from $17 billion to $42 billion.(9) In addition to his role as Chief Executive Officer of TFG Asset Management, Stephen is a member of Tetragon’s investment manager’s Investment and Risk Committee, alongside co-founders Reade Griffith and Paddy Dear.

Stephen was previously the Deputy Chief Investment Officer and Chair of the Investment Committee of Silver Creek Capital Management, an $8 billion alternative investment firm.

Prior to joining Silver Creek in 2007, Stephen helped found and was on the investment team of two long/short equity hedge funds. Stephen began his career at Tiger Management LLC.

Alongside his roles at Tetragon, Stephen is Chair of the Investment Committee at Heinz Endowments.

Stephen has an A.B. degree from Princeton University, majoring in English, and an M.B.A. degree from Harvard Business School. He is based in New York with his wife, Hailey, and their three children. At Princeton University, Stephen and Hailey have endowed a Service Focused Internship and Program Fund that supports students with stipends and grants to pursue internships and academic experiences in organizations that address problems related to healthcare.  Stephen also works in a volunteer capacity to support Afghan refugees resettling in the United States post the Allied-withdrawal.

Outside of the office Stephen is a keen amateur magician.

Paul Gannon is Chief Financial Officer and a member of the TFM Executive Committee. Paul joined the group in 2004, and prior to that, he was an interest rate derivatives Analyst in the Capital Markets Division of J.P. Morgan in London. Before JP Morgan, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the Asset Management Division at PwC. Paul has an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.  He is based in London.

Stacy joined in 2014, and prior to that, she was the Chief Compliance Officer and also Counsel at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., which she joined as Deputy Chief Compliance Officer and Counsel in 2010. Stacy was previously at Ernst & Young and also worked at Barclays Wealth and Lehman Brothers, Inc. in regulatory, legal and compliance roles. Between 2001 and 2004, she was a Staff Attorney at the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, and prior to that was an Associate Examiner at the NASD. Her responsibilities include all regulatory and compliance matters. Stacy is based in New York.

Sean joined the group in 2004, and prior to that, he was a Senior Corporate Associate in the New York office of Covington & Burling, an international law firm he joined in 1999, where he advised clients on a broad range of corporate matters. He started his legal career in 1995 with Hale and Dorr in Boston, where he focused on securities and M&A transactions. Sean has a law degree from Harvard Law School, a Master’s degree in law and diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College. He is admitted to the New York, Massachusetts and Florida bars. His responsibilities include all legal and regulatory matters. Sean is based in London.

Greg Wadsworth is the Head of Business Development and Investor Relations and is a member of the Executive Committee. Greg joined the group in 2006, and prior to that, he worked at Yahoo for four years, most recently responsible for financial planning and analysis for its international operations. Before Yahoo, Greg worked at several technology companies in the San Francisco Bay Area, raising funds including public and private offerings, acquiring and selling businesses, and managing the companies’ operations. Prior to moving to San Francisco, he was an Associate in Chase Manhattan Bank’s Latin America corporate finance organisation in New York City. He also served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps and left as a Captain. Greg has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Holy Cross College and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He is based in London.

Ruaraidh Campbell is the Head of Risk. He joined Tetragon in 2021. Ruaraidh’s responsibilities include platform risk management and oversight of the firm’s hedge fund products. Prior to joining Tetragon, Ruaraidh worked as a Managing Director in Blackstone’s Hedge Fund Solutions Group (BAAM), where he supported the Co-CIOs in risk management, analytics, business strategy and portfolio construction spanning over $75 billion in AUM. Previously, he worked as a Vice President and Head of Analytics and Risk at Summit Rock Advisors, a then-$8 billion outsourced CIO office. Before Summit Rock, Ruaraidh spent eight years at Blackstone’s Hedge Fund Solutions Group, where he focused on risk management, portfolio construction and product development. He received a B.A. in Economics and Foreign Affairs with a minor in Applied Math from the University of Virginia. Ruaraidh is a CFA charterholder and is based in New York and Washington, D.C.

Jesse spent seven years at Intermediate Capital Group and was responsible for all aspects of their financial reporting processes and global financial regulatory submissions. He received an Economics Degree from Warwick University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG. He is based in London.

Before Soros, he worked at Inchcape plc for 12 years and started his career at Case Communications Ltd. Neil has a Bachelor of Science degree with honours in computer science from Royal Holloway College, University of London. Previously, she worked as a Managing Director at Och-Ziff Capital Management (subsequently renamed Sculptor Capital), where she was responsible for US business development and investor relations. Before Och-Ziff, Frances spent two years at Silver Creek Capital as a Director of Investor Relations, and prior to Silver Creek, eight years at Goldman Sachs. Frances started her career in the Business Assurance practice of PriceWaterhouseCoopers. She received a B.S. in Accountancy from Villanova University and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Quentin Nason is the Head of Corporate Development. He is responsible for key counterparty relationships at Tetragon, its listing and related capital markets initiatives, and also focuses on the growth of TFG Asset Management. He joined in 2015 and, prior to that, was a Partner of Arle Capital Partners since early 2013 with responsibilities for the Investor Relations team as well as being a member of the Investment and Operating Committees. Arle is a spin-out of Candover plc, one of Europe’s oldest private equity managers, and has been a manager of over 10 private equity and co-investment funds. Prior to that, Quentin was an investment banker for almost 20 years at Deutsche Bank and UBS. He has worked in all major global financial markets, having advised clients in accessing both debt and equity capital markets in Europe, the U.S., the Middle East, and Asia. Most recently at Deutsche Bank, he was head of the alternative asset manager fund-raising team within equity capital markets. Quentin holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MA in International Relations from The Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. He is based in London.

Tetragon’s non-voting shares are not intended for European retail investors.
